Is an Air Fryer better than the oven?
This was a really quick afternoon snack, made of salmon, egg, dill and chives. And maybe some mozzarella sticks haha. Hello Have you ever cooked toad in the hole. Are you supposed to cook everything in the basket or do you ever cook in directly in the base I. Are there changes you made that you would like to share? Hmmm, I remember having some deep fried pickles at our Minnesota State Fair and they were so good! One small potato fit perfect.
We do love the machine. Anyone find a small pot that fits the airfryer? I purchased an air fryer just yesterday and am planning to try it tonight. Does the food, specifically the meat, need to be thawed before placing it in the fryer?
My plan when purchasing this product was 1. Well, the easiest answer that I can provide for you is — yes, they are. However, there are many reasons why you should buy them over, for example, deep fryers and the health is not the main advantage that makes air fryers a better option.

You should be able to experiment with your new air fryer and figure out how to go from frozen to done from a temperature standpoint though.

I used my air fryer yesterday for the first time and made chicken wings and sweet potato fries. I am a pretty good cook, but felt like everything took forever. The wings tasted great, but had to cook for about 30 minutes at to get crisp and my sweet potato fries never got crisp I cooked at for 25 minutes. Do you not notice that things take longer than the recipe books state? I am determined to figure this out! I am new air fryer lover and trying to prepare food my own and for the delegates.
I have used it a couple of times so far and I am pleased. I made barbecue ribs in it and chimichangas. I have also used it to reheat leftovers. There is definitely nothing wrong with reheating in a microwave.
If a MW with crisp plate similar to airfryer results could be achieved faster, as it uses microwaves for crisping and cooking.
I am still trying to figure out what temperatures to use and cooking times for different things. According to the users manual I guess your supposed to reduce the temp by 70 degrees and decrease cooking time by half.

One of my favorite things. I do double fry with Michael Symons recipe. Actually baked then fried…so good! But, my Christmas wish list is an air fryer because we eat healthier than my southern roots and I miss frying. First up for me would my fave a captains platter of fresh fried fish, shrimp, lobster, scallops and oysters..

I only eat them out where they are deep fried but if I could make them healthier, I would make them at home. Bacon because, come on, bacon. Fish because steamed is good, but fried is great. I would definitely try my hand at some classic buffalo wings or crispy fried brussels sprouts.
Stuffed avacados for me!!!! Well, they are divine. Onion rings would be amazing, I would probably make fries with it and stuffed jalapeños too. A girl can dream! I just learned about these a few weeks ago from a friend. What I would make first? I am such a kitchen gadget geek, this is one item I have always dreamed of having, but never could get to shelling out the bucks I have kept the Williams and Sonoma catalog page tabbed to this item for months on end.

I love tried perogies but I try not to eat them because of all the fat but if I owned this I would try frying perogies in it. Oh the things I would make…. Sorry for the late post. I have cut out a lot of traditional frying, but still have not found a good way to make healthy, moist chicken cutlets …. I love sweet potato fries! Who won, by the way? Can beans be done in an air fryer?

Potatoes and more potatoes. Sweet potato fries for me, too. My friend loves her air fryer. I love the tempura cauliflower, broccoli and mushrooms. First thing — sweet potato fries. This looks far less messy than anything else too. Fried sour pickle spears with a sriracha ranch dipping sauce! Fry bread for tacos would be delicious! But I think I would like to try to make my chicken tenders as well! And oh, tempura veggies would be awesome. My family will eat it as fast as I can fry it.
