Why Organic?

Do you believe that everything has energy? That means the food we eat has a certain energy to it that is incorporated into our body. The energy potential of any given food can range from being very positive to very negative, to somewhere in between. This concept brings new meaning to the phrase “you are what you eat.” If you buy into this, then you’ll want to be sure you are eating the best quality food possible to maximize your energy potential. One way to be sure your food is of the best quality is to purchase organic products, and eat as fresh as possible.

By buying organic products, you will avoid much of the modifications made to our food, which include, waxing, spraying, irradiation, genetic modification, food dyes, synthetic flavorings, artificial sweeteners, and preservatives – all unnecessary and possibly harmful ingredients.

The importance of eating organic is to avoid assimilating the harmful chemicals often used in conventional farming and processed foods. What chemicals you may ask? How about the sprays used to fertilize fields, the hormones and steroids used to enhance the profit margin of meat producers, the antibiotics injected into animal feed, irradiation for our “protection,” the genetically modified (GMO) cells in foods that have been “enhanced” in laboratories, and if that’s not enough, there are 12,000 other chemicals that contaminate food during various stages of propagation, growth, harvesting, packing, shipping and preparation. Luckily, you do have a choice. You can avoid all of this by making some simple changes in your shopping habits, and some smarter choices.

The health food industry is now gaining more and more importance. People are realizing the benefits of eating well to maintain their health and energy levels. Many vitamins and supplements are available to help boost the immune system, and enhance general health. We are what we eat?” Yes, we are. If we eat healthy foods, we stay healthier. If we eat processed and denatured foods (food in which all the energy and life force has been removed), our life force can become compromised, leaving us low in energy and vitality. It’s a choice! What will you choose?
